Driving Assessments and Development Training
What’s Involved in Driving Assessments and Development Training?
Driving assessments can be carried out for various reasons, each designed to ensure the safety, competence, and confidence of drivers across different stages of their career. Some of the key reasons driving assessments may be conducted include:
-New Employee Assessments: To verify that new drivers have the necessary skills and competence to perform their duties safely and effectively.
-Post-Accident Assessments: If a driver’s confidence has been affected after an accident, this assessment helps determine whether they’re ready and able to return to work safely.
-Annual General Assessments: For roles that require regular evaluations, these assessments are tailored to meet specific company or certification requirements.
-Return-to-Work Assessments:Designed to assess whether an employee is fit and confident enough to return to driving duties after time off, ensuring they are safe to operate a vehicle.
What Are the Benefits of Driving Assessments?
Increased Confidence: Drivers can feel more secure knowing their skills have been assessed and improved, leading to enhanced performance and safety.
Practical Feedback: Receive actionable insights on how to improve driving skills and address any areas of concern.
Comprehensive Written Reports: Get an in-depth review of the assessment, providing clear documentation of the driver’s performance and areas for development.
Certificate of Completion: Successful completion of an assessment earns a certificate, confirming that the driver has met the required standards.
